[MoPo- this one didn't involve dwarves]

There was just a guy walking up to the computer lab about twenty feet ahead of me, and when he went to open the door, he turned and saw me coming, and actually waited fifteen seconds for me to get there to hold the door for me.

The world needs more people like this.

I was just watching MoPo while I ate some guacamole over at my mom's. The topic was child stars (LAME) and there was this one little chick on there who sang. And afterwards they interviewed her, and it turns out that she and her mom and dad and three brothers and sisters have been living in a van (down by the river) for eight months. She described it- sleeping outside on the ground at night, being sent to look for food and not finding any.

So she is telling MoPo how she got discovered- in Vegas, at a casino- don't ask me what people who live in a van down by the river are doing at a casino in Vegas- and like, some unknown band guy gave her the mike and.. well that was that I guess. I guess someone saw her.

Kid: And it was in the Tiffany lounge!
MoPo, gasping: And your name is Tiffany!
Kid: Yes! And I'm wearing Tiffany jewelry right now! (shows off earrings)
MoPo, overacting surprised: So you went from living in a van to wearing Tiffany jewelry?
Kid, beaming: Yes!
MoPo: What a country!

Yeah... what a fucking country. Don't get me wrong, I love it here, but it is just a fucking joke that anyone in this country should have to live in a van and send their ten-year-old out to rummage through garbage cans for food.
