A few nights ago I was cooking chicken at my mom's. It had chicken, and onions, and chicken broth and soy sauce and usually it has vegetables in it, but I was going to just leave it vegetable-less. My mom walked into the room and looked at me and said, "Put some broccoli in there. You need your vegetables."
I felt so cared about in that moment. I just want to record it here.
